"Clannad，这个词，单从词根上看就知道和家族有关，而这个以 Clannad 命名的四人（曾经是五人）乐队呢，实际上也是由血缘相近的两个家族（O Brennan 和 O Duggan）的成员所组成的。这个乐队发源自遥远的爱尔兰西北部偏远山区，一个名叫 Parish Gweedore 的海边小镇上。而这个小镇，至今还是沿用着古老的凯尔特语。
